The development of a new packaging item not only has to satisfy the functional packaging needs of a food product, but also meet the requirements of the customer´s food manufacturing process, consider the presentation of the product in the supermarket and the convenience for the consumer.

At Faerch Plast innovation and consumer trends are given top priority. In order to ensure that our customers find the optimal solution from production and packaging through distribution, to purchase by the consumer, all phases of the supply chain are thoroughly analysed in close co-operation with the customer.

Færch Plast regards interaction with the customer as a vital part of product development. Using the latest CAD/CAM technology, our team of professional designers can tailor packaging solutions to specific customer requirements, taking both functional and emotional attributes into account.

Faerch can now offer significantly shorter development and design cycle time. Using our new 3D sample printer, we can quickly turn your ideas into three dimensional samples produced in a modified styrene material (ABS). The  sample design is communicated by our designers to the sample printer via the Faerch CAD/CAM-system, and in around 24 hours (depending on design) a three dimensional tray sample is ready in 1:1 size.

Prototypes of the new packaging item are tested before being put into production. This ensures that the item meets the specific need – nothing less is acceptable.
