There are different types of PP: 

PP (Polypropylene) is used primarily for fresh meat and ready meals for microwaving. PP is a very versatile material that is available in a version for freezing, a clear version and an environmentally friendly version. The product can be used within a temperature range of -40°C to +121°C, depending on the type of PP. 

In choosing the right type of PP material, you should consider temperature requirements and colour/transparency preference. In the more environmentally friendly version, MO-PP, 15% of the raw materials are replaced with talc. Talc extraction and use consumes much less energy than oil.
