Færch Plast continuously strives to develop biodegradable packaging for the food industry. Minimizing negative environmental effects of the production process is imperative for the company. All materials applied in our packaging products can be disposed of without any environmental risks, either by recycling or incineration. Furthermore, our constantly evolving PLA solutions are manufactured from lactic acid. These can in turn be decomposed into lactic acid and eventually carbon dioxide and water.
