PLA

Can be produced in PLA
C 1166-1C PLA (Polylactide) is used primarily for products where environmental considerations have priority. The oleaginous raw materials are replaced with corn starch. Corn is an annually renewable resource, whereas oil must be extracted from beneath the earth. Production is based on lactic acid, which is produced by fermenting corn starch, making PLA a 100% natural product. PLA can be broken down to lactic acid in industrial composting plants in the course of 45-60 days at high humidity. The lactic acid is then broken down by the microorganisms in the compost into carbon dioxide and water.
PLA is a transparent, brittle material and has a temperature range of 0°C to +40°C. PLA trays may be sealed using PLA sealing film. All PLA items

We think environmentally throughout the entire process

Already in the design stage we are thinking of the environment. Our technical team is constantly working to optimise all design proposals so as to minimise materials consumption.
