The Austrian armed forces have taken the decision to centralise their kitchens into 3 new units serving the whole of Austria. The kitchens will pack 5,000 meals each day to supply all the barracks in Austria.
The switch to the new units will enable the Austrian armed forces to reduce costs for personnel, service, cleaning, and premises.
As the pictures below show, meals include lasagne and potato gratin – all served in Færch Plast trays.
