Dispensing with pre-drying


In 2002 we purchased new extrusion technology, a ‘twin extruder’ for producing PET material. Traditional extrusion of PET requires 6-8 hours of energy-consuming pre-drying. Dehydrating the material using the ‘twin extruder’ takes place in the extrusion process via a vacuum. This has resulted in a reduction in energy consumption of 3 million kWh a year, corresponding to an energy saving of 21 per cent.  ​





We think environmentally throughout the entire process

Already in the design stage we are thinking of the environment. Our technical team is constantly working to optimise all design proposals so as to minimise materials consumption.
